The Hong Kong TCA Scholastic Championship 2025 organized by The Chess Academy of ActiveKids will take place on June 8, 2025. This will also be a special and meaningful Interschool Charity Event whereby a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Children’s Medical Foundation, a reputable nonprofit organization dedicated to providing medical care and support to underprivileged children in Hong Kong.
The format of this interschool event is a competition among schools in Hong Kong. There will be 3 Divisions: Secondary, Upper Primary and Lower Primary sections and a school may enter as many teams for each division, each team will have 4 players and a captain. There will be overall school winners, as well as Individual board winners.
Date: Jun 8, 2025 (Sunday)
Time: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Format: 7 rounds Swiss, 10 min + 5 sec
Awards: Overall Team Winners, Individual Board Winners, Raffles, Certificates…
Venue: Cafeteria, G/F, French International School, 28 Tong Yin Street, Tseung Kwan O, HK
Registration fee: HK$1,000 per team ends on May 20 and $2,200 per team afterwards. Deadline May 26.
