As Hong Kong’s #1 Chess Program, we offer a comprehensive curriculum through the TCA Road-to-Masters Program, designed to teach world-class chess strategies while nurturing vital character traits such as patience, logical decision-making, and sportsmanship.
What Makes Us Different?
Expert Coaching: Learn from the best! Our team includes highly ranked and experienced coaches, from Grandmasters (GM) and International Masters (IM) to FIDE Masters (FM) and National Trainers. With their guidance, your child will master the intricacies of chess, from introductory lessons to advanced competition levels.
Tailored Learning: We group students by skill level, ensuring each session is both challenging and rewarding. Our meticulously structured program guides students through the complexities of chess, fostering critical thinking, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
Comprehensive Training: Our program includes at least ONE hour of weekly in-person classes where students receive expert guidance and hands-on practice. But the learning doesn’t stop there! We also offer optional online training FIVE times a week in the late afternoon, providing flexibility and additional resources to refine your child’s skills. As in any sport, quality practice is key to improvement.
Chess Club Sessions:
Students are invited to join our vibrant chess community every Saturday from 4 to 7 PM for engaging chess club sessions. These gatherings provide a unique opportunity to practice with peers, participate in friendly matches, and learn in a supportive environment. Our program fosters holistic development, promoting skills that are valuable both on and off the chessboard.
Engaging Tournaments:
We host a diverse array of tournaments throughout the year, offering students the chance to compete, learn, and grow. From Beginners’ Tournaments to Hong Kong Scholastic Championships and Cross-Border International Competitions, our events are designed to challenge and inspire young minds. Participants in our TCA Road-to-Masters Program enjoy additional benefits in our tournaments. Join us for an exciting journey of skill development and constructive competition!
Fun and Learning Combined:
Beyond regular classes, we offer holiday camps and term-break chess camps, allowing students to immerse themselves in intensive training and explore specific topics in depth. These camps are a fantastic way for children to make new friends and develop a lifelong love for chess. We also have a Travel Program, where students can join coaches abroad for tournaments.
