East Asian Chess Championships 2016 was held from 4th to 11th August in South Korea. A total of 12 hong kong players accompanied by their parents, and led by Coach Sydney from Activekids have attended this 9 rounds tournament.

Rachel Lu has won 2nd place in G12 Section and was awarded the title of Woman Candidate Master. Congratulation! Rachel.

In u8 Section, CM Bao Jinwen won 2nd place! Way to go Jin wen!

In the u14 Section, Oliver Yau won 6th place as well.

In u12 Section, Huang ho Pang won 4th place, while in u10 section, Kaden Timothy Chan won 5th place.
